WHO ARE WE?

OUR MISSION IS TO BRING HOPE TO EVERY HOME FROM SOUTHEAST ORLANDO TO THE WORLD

OUR VISION

As a community of faithful and compassionate followers of Christ, we envision a radical movement of the gospel transforming the very fabric of our communities, where hope fills every home and neighborhoods become safe havens because of the godly love that neighbors have for each other.

We see strong, biblically rooted families, thriving marriages, and children whose hearts are captivated by the love of God that leads to a deep and abiding relationship with Jesus.

We see this gospel movement spreading from community to community throughout southeast Orlando to the world.

OUR VALUES

RELATIONSHIPS are at the heart of God's nature and design for humanity. When we love God we can love others as they are yet have hope for what God can do in their lives.

COMPASSION for others leads to action. When we allow the compassion of Jesus to compel us, we will show and share the love of Jesus with hurting and lost people.

DISCOVERY is a continual process of personal and communal learning that requires curiosity and courage. What we discover we embrace and what we embrace we turn into action.

SPIRITUAL FORMATION is a lifelong journey. We become more like our Savior as we abide in Him, form biblical spiritual habits, and allow our minds to be renewed, leading us to be on mission with Jesus.

GENEROSITY is a decision made within the heart. As we draw closer to a generous God who died for us, we become more willing to joyfully share our time, skills, and resources with others.

CONTEXT gives meaning. If we are going to be effective, we must understand the unique context of the communities and people we are called to serve.

OUR BELIEF

We believe that having a relationship with Jesus Christ and His community matters. We agree with the Apostle Paul who declares that Jesus Christ "gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good." (Titus 2:14) That pretty much sums things up around here!

We acknowledge that we live in a broken world, disconnected from God, who made us and loves us.

Jesus came to live among us. He humbled Himself and entered our broken world to experience our life and to connect us with God.

Jesus Christ challenges each of us to “come and see,” to give His life and teaching honest consideration.

Once we’ve spent some time observing Him, He invites us to follow Him.

Our brokenness keeps us from God. Jesus came, lived, and died to overcome the barrier of our sin and brokenness and to bring us back into a relationship with Him and His heavenly Father.

Jesus gives each of us a choice—to believe or not to believe, to receive or not to receive. Our response to the grace of God shapes our present life and eternal destiny.

God designed life change to happen through relationships—a relationship with Him and with each other. Jesus calls us to be a part of His family, to find our place in His community, His Church. God loves us and wants us to walk in a real, honest, open-hearted relationship with Him and with each other.
