AWAKE Vista Youth is where Middle and High School students can find real connection, grow in their faith, and live out their purpose—together. We’re all about building authentic community, chasing after Jesus, and having a ton of fun along the way. Because let’s be honest, life’s not meant to be done solo.

Inspired by Ephesians 5:14, “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you,” we believe God is calling this generation to wake up, step into the light, and live fully alive in Him.

We meet every Sunday from 5–7 p.m., and every night is packed with high-energy games, powerful worship, real talk from God’s Word, and time to hang with friends. Whether you're new to church or already all in, there's a place for you here. See what AWAKE Vista Youth is all about!

  • AWAKE Vista Youth meets every Sunday, 5-7 pm.

  • Vista Youth is for all students grades 6th - 12th grade. (11 years - 18 years). No matter your church experience, you're more than welcome!

  • AWAKE Vista Youth meets at Vista Church

    4200 S. Chickasaw Tr. Orlando, FL 32829.

  • Students will enjoy a night of fun, games, worship, and most importantly spending time in God’s word together.

  • Here at Vista Youth, we have three rules:

    1. Be where you're supposed to be when you're supposed to be there

      • This means showing up on time, sticking to the plan, and making sure everyone stays safe and involved. It helps things run smoothly, keeps the vibe positive, and shows respect for the group and leaders.

    2. Respect the "Old School"

      • This means listening to your leaders, following their guidance, and trusting their experience. It keeps the group running smoothly, helps everyone learn, and shows appreciation for the wisdom they're sharing.

    3. No Purple

      • This is another way of saying no romantic stuff during youth group. Keep things focused on friendships and activities so everyone can have a good time and avoid distractions. It’s all about keeping things positive and drama-free!

Matthew is the Youth and Young Adults Ministry Director at Vista, and he is passionate about helping middle and high school students grow in their faith and build real, lasting relationships. He desires to see students wake up to who God has called them to be and live boldly for Jesus in their everyday lives.

Whether it’s a Sunday night at AWAKE or just spending time with students, Matthew is all about pointing the next generation toward Christ.
