Van Fielden has been Vista’s senior pastor since 1999. He has served in churches from a variety of Christian traditions which brings a balanced, interdenominational approach to his teaching and ministry. Van creates a relaxed, straightforward, and unpretentious atmosphere for teaching God's Word. He is committed to keeping his messages biblical, personal, practical and encouraging. His heart's desire is to "connect people with God."
Van and his wife, Deb, have three children- Bekah, Hannah and Jon, and grandfather of six.
Deb wears many "hats" at Vista. She wants everyone to feel that we are expecting them as they arrive and welcome them into our Vista family. She directs our KidCity (children's ministry). She loves to tell the bible stories to the kids each week and make the gospel connection to Jesus. She manages the calendar and the facility use requests. She also manages the Care Team that handles physical needs that come up inside and outside our church family.
She and her husband, Van, have a heart for marriage and lead the "re|engage" program. They love to see couples grow in their love for one another...in every season.
They have 3 grown children: Two married daughters who live outside of the state, and one son and daughter-in-law who live locally. She and Van have 6 wonderful grandchildren.
Pastor Jon Adams oversees Vista's worship ministry including the overall execution of the Sunday worship experience. He is also the Director of Growth. His passion is to see the depths of Christ's love for sinners displayed for all to see. Jon is married to Tery-Ann and they have a son Clive and a daughter Ellie.
Pastor Cristian Pablo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Cristian graduated as an Architect and also completed seminary studies in Word of Life Argentina and also did several classes in the USA.
After serving as a Youth director and assistant pastor in their home church in Buenos Aires the Lord led him and Carina, his wife, to serve at a church in Washington DC as a youth pastor and also preaching every other Sunday at the main service. During his time in DC, he also served the North American Mission Board as a church planter.
With a passion to see teenagers grow in their relationship with God and truly grasp what it means to be a Christ-follower, he is now excited to bring that passion to Vista Church and also serve along the Spanish community and Missions!
